US Airborne Paratroopers WWII Plastic Model Kit

Presenting the latest and most impressive addition to our collection: the plastic US Airborne Late WWII Paratroopers are now available for Pre-Jump inspection. This set includes a 30-man plastic US Airborne Platoon, with an abundance of plastic components that can be used to create 30 US Airborne miniatures in M-1943 uniforms. The set also offers a variety of options for different weapon configurations and command models. These paratroopers have a rich history, having proven themselves during the fighting in Sicily in 1943 and achieving fame with their roles in the D-Day landings in June 1944.

After their iconic operations during the D-Day landings, the US Airborne divisions were withdrawn from the front lines to rest and refit. They were then equipped with the new green M-1943 uniform, as part of an effort to standardize supply across the US military. These divisions, which included the 101st ‘Screaming Eagles’ and the 82nd ‘All American’, played a crucial role during Operation Market Garden. This ambitious plan aimed to open a corridor through Holland by parachuting in several US, British and Polish airborne divisions to take key bridges.

Following the ill-fated Market Garden, US paratroopers participated in Operations Varsity and Plunder, dropping into Germany in 1945 as part of the crossing of the River Rhine. These battle-hardened troops have been immortalized in film and television, with A Bridge Too Far and Band of Brothers serving as great sources of inspiration for their heroic actions.

The plastic US Airborne Platoon set includes 30-man plastic figurines, each featuring 15 different head options, 5 LMG with bipod, 5 kneeling bodies, 5 prone bodies, 20 running/standing bodies, 5 BAR arms, and a variety of weapons and gear such as rifles, carbines, SMGs, pistols, binoculars, pouches, pigeons, ammo, holsters, knives, and backpacks. This product also comes with a construction leaflet featuring new Bolt Action rules entry and a full-color waterslide decal sheet. The weapons included are M1 Garand rifle, Thompson submachine gun, Browning pistol, Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), M1 Carbine, hand grenades, machete, and .30 Cal medium machine gun. Please note that this product is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and does not include glue and paints.

With these plastic figurines, players can recreate World War II combat on a tabletop using dice, model troops, tanks, and the rules constructed by Bolt Action. Each side will need painted model troops representing the soldiers, guns, and tanks of the chosen armies. Tabletop encounters are based on twelve closely defined battle scenarios that explain force deployment and victory conditions. Players can pit their wits against each other as they bring to life just one small part of one of the greatest conflicts in history—World War II. Building, painting, and playing with these models provide endless enjoyment, making the construction and painting process just as rewarding as the game itself!
