Warlord Bolt Action British & Canadian Army WWII Starter Set Model Kit

In order to counter the aggression from Germany, Italy, and Japan, Britain and her Commonwealth mobilized a large number of men in WWII. Despite her small but professional army being absorbed in defending a global Empire, Britain refused to surrender after suffering severe defeats at Dunkirk and Singapore. Instead, her forces regrouped and fought back against the Axis powers, learning new tactics and techniques on the battlefield. By the end of the war in 1945, the Tommies had become a highly effective fighting force.

This boxed set provides a balanced starting force for a British or Canadian army, consisting of 36 customizable plastic infantry, weapons teams, transports, and a customizable Churchill tank. With the rules of Bolt Action, players can recreate WWII combat on a tabletop, using dice and model troops, while facing off against one or more opponents. Each side will need painted model troops representing the soldiers, guns, and tanks of their chosen armies. The tabletop encounters follow twelve specific battle scenarios that outline deployment and victory conditions.

Players can challenge each other as they reenact a small part of one of the greatest conflicts in history—World War II. The enjoyment of building and painting the models adds an extra layer of fun to the game itself.
